Product identifiers will soon be required to list branded new and manufacturer refurbished items in specific categories, making it easier for buyers to quickly find what they’re looking for.
This is an important part of our ongoing work to improve the eBay.co.uk experience for all users. These are the categories which will be affected for all new listings of branded new and manufacturer refurbished items.

As announced in March 2015, sellers who list branded items in new or manufacturer refurbished condition in the following categories are required to include the item's brand, manufacturer part number (MPN), and global trade item number (GTIN) to complete new listings and manual relists in these categories:
